‘I have so many memories’: Robert Irwin recreates late father Steve’s iconic photograph as he rides his motorbike around Australia Zoo
Robert Irwin thrilled fans when he recreated his late father Steve’s iconic motorbike photograph this week.
The 17-year-old Wildlife Warrior shared to Instagram a picture of himself riding his father’s Honda bike after getting it up and running again.
In the first image, Robert can be seen as a baby holding onto the handles as Steve rode it around Australia Zoo.

In the second, he proudly poses on the bike in his Australia Zoo uniform.
Robert also shared a video of himself riding around the zoo.
In his caption, Robert said he had ‘so many memories of Dad’s old motorbike.’

‘I have so many memories of Dad’s old motorbike – hanging on to the front with Bindi as we’d ride around the zoo with Dad,’ Robert wrote.
He added: ‘And now after being in the shed for a few years, it’s all fixed up and running again. It’s so special to be riding it after all this time!’
The post received more than 326,000 likes.
