Apple’s iOS 13 has been plagued with issues since its release and the latest problem is found to drain iPhone.
Users who have downloaded 13.5.1 last month have reported that the Apple Music app is depleting the device’s battery power – even when music is not playing.
More than 2,000 complaints have flooded the tech giant’s support forum and the bug seems to be found in a range of models, along with iPads.
One iPhone owner stating the Music app used 81 percent of the battery and others noted the smartphone ‘felt hot’ while it lost power.

Reports of the bug were first spotted by AppleInsider, which found the issue flooding Apple Support.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Apple and has yet to receive a response.
The firm’s iOS 13 has been called a ‘disaster zone’ due to the fact that it has produced numerous issues.
Users have experienced dropped calls, lost contacts, deleted emails. Even Siri was even found to have issues, with the smartphone assistant making calls on speakerphone by default.

The issues seems to plague all devices, including new and old iPhones, along with iPads. Some users have also noticed that the bug is not confined to the Apple Music app, but is also occurring with the Bloomberg news app and Teamsnap, a fitness platform
Others have found that the updated is causing boot loops on the iPad Pro and media playback, which switches between a black screen and Apple logo when the device is turned on.
The latest issues stems from the Apple Music app and it is draining battery life.
One users shared their frustration with Apple Support stating their iPhone 11 Pro has been dramatically losing power.
‘In just the past few days, the Apple Music app has started sucking the life out of my battery,’ the post reads.
‘Today, after fulling charging the battery, and using my phone minimally, the battery was down to 25% after 6 hours.
The Battery stats page shows that the Music app background activity had used 81% of that.’
‘Since this started happening, I have restarted the Music app, rebooted the phone, uninstalled & re-installed the music app (which also uninstalled all my music).’
