The Bachelor: Jimmy Nicholson confirms he picked a winner and is ‘in love’

‘I’m happy to say I’m in love now’: The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson confirms he has picked a winner… three years after THAT Honey Badger disaster

Bachelor fans won’t have to worry about a Honey Badger 2.0 as new suitor Jimmy Nicholson has confirmed he has picked a winner and is happily in love.

Ahead of next week’s season premiere, the 31-year-old airline pilot told New Idea: ‘I have been in love twice before and I am happy to say that I’m in love now.’

It comes three years after rugby union player Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins infamously dumped both contestants during his finale in 2018.

Nick’s decision shattered his ‘Aussie larrikin’ persona, turning him from a popular sporting hero into Australia’s public enemy No. 1.

Fortunately, Jimmy won’t be delivering a repeat performance.

Jimmy also revealed he planned many of the dates on show himself, unlike previous Bachelors who rely on the show’s producers to do it for them.

‘Yes, I came up with most of them myself,’ he said.

‘I know I have limited time with the girls and I want to plan dates that would show the traits I was looking for in a girl.

‘I asked my family what dates can we do and I gave [producers] one of the most extensive lists they have ever had.’

The show was filmed earlier this year at a mansion in Sydney’s west, which is now being used as the location for The Bachelorette.
