Bling Empire stars Kelly Mi Li and Andrew Gray break up after five years together

Kelly Mi Li and Andrew Gray have now called it quits after five years of dating, all after reconciling on Bling Empire’s season finale, which aired in January.

The former lovebirds, whose rocky romance was documented on Netflix’s hit reality show, announced their breakup in nearly identical statements shared to their respective Instagram accounts on Tuesday.

‘Over the past 5 and half years, Andrew and I have shared some incredible times together.

‘I have a tremendous amount of respect and love for him and will always cherish the memories we made,’ the 35-year-old film producer captioned a selfie of her and Gray hugging on a rocky beach.

She continued: ‘However, we have made the difficult decision to officially separate at this point in our lives. ‘

They both agreed to feeling ‘so grateful to have experienced a relationship that allowed’ them to ‘grow and learn so much.’

‘Moving forward, Andrew and I plan to continue working on becoming the best versions of ourselves individually,’ the star noted.

‘We want to express our appreciation for your continued support and thank you for allowing us to share our journey.’

Like Li, her ex, who is best known for his role as Troy Burrows, the Red Megaforce Ranger in Power Rangers Megaforce, requested privacy during ‘this time of transition.’

Additionally, Gray shared a snap of him holding her above his head on a hike to his Instagram Story with a brief, but heartfelt note.

‘Allow others to bring out the best in you. Thank you. @kellymili,’ he wrote, before expressing his gratitude to their supportive fans.

‘I want to let you guys know that God is good and he has a plan for us all,’ the Spanish-American actor, 34, said. ‘He keeps revealing himself in so many ways.’

He went on to ‘give a shout-out to all the people’ in his life, who have supported him and Li throughout their relationship.

‘I love you, Kelly. I love you, guys. You guys have been unconditional, just like we have to each other,’ he told his 108,000 followers.

Gray concluded: ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you. I recommend to all men and women out there, if you need help, be the change you want to see in the world. It is tough, but hard work always pays off. God is good, guys.’

Viewers previously saw them try couple’s counseling before parting ways and move into separate living situations.

That separation didn’t last long as they ended up reigniting their romance amid the COVID-19 pandemic and, just last month, Gray praisined Li for teaching him ‘what true love is.’

‘The first moment I saw you, you completely took my breath away. You had me in the palm of your hands and still do,’ he wrote on Instagram. ‘Almost 6 years later, my heart still skips a beat every time you walk in the room.’

He also called her ‘incredible from head to toe’ and admitted to being ‘amazed’ by her kindness, patience and ‘passionate endless love’ for him.

‘Living through a breakup and one of the darkest times of our lives, especially on international television, was not easy,’ he reflected, adding he has grown a lot since his verbal outburst in 2018 on their trip to Paris.

Gray continued: ‘Thank you for not giving up on us. You are my best friend, my soulmate, and the love of my love.’

In mid-February, they were pictured holding hands at their costar Cherie Chan’s birthday at the Chinese restaurant J. Zhou in Tustin, California.

Li was previously married to Lin Miao, who was arrested for ‘stealing $50 million from mobile phone customers,’ according to The Sun.

Their breakup came just one day before Netflix confirmed Bling Empire was renewed for a second season.
