Before it was removed from Instagram, Salty’s Day had ‘attracted over 8,000 followers and is allegedly run by a schoolteacher who used to be a fan of the YouTuber’.

Journalists Amy, Sophie and Kate Taeuber, who run the podcast, said Salty’s Day was just one of several ‘hate pages’ targetting the lifestyle and fitness vlogger.

They said some of Salty Day’s content was ‘flat-out bullying’, with the mostly anonymous page having ‘a Gossip Girl vibe’.

‘The fact that the page is dedicated to one person really makes it feel like bullying,’ they said.

Amy, Sophie and Kate said the woman behind Salty’s Day ‘really crossed the line’ when she decided to share details about Sarah’s wedding.

‘She basically put that out to a community of people who actively dislike her, and it puts her family and son in a really dangerous situation,’ they added.

They branded the post ‘really scary’ and ‘so troubling’, calling it a violation of her privacy.

‘I don’t think the person running this account actually realises how damaging the account is to Sarah’s mental health,’ they said.

Meanwhile, Sarah’s sister, Talia, spoke out about the bullying, and said it’s ‘taking a toll on my family’.

'When it starts involving my family and personal events and personal things and where we live, it's not funny anymore, and it's not just cyber bullying, it's dangerous,' she said

Sarah herself issued a rare statement about the amount of hate she receives, and the effect it’s had on her.

‘People forget that you’re a real person with a real family and real friends… I needed to take a mental health break,’ she began.
