Real Housewives of Orange County’s Braunwyn Windham-Burke has been open about her somewhat fraught relationship with her eccentric mother Dr Deb in the past.
On Tuesday things seemed to be on the mend between the 43-year-old reality star and her 65-year-old mom as they stepped out together for a desert outing in Palm Springs.
Grabbing some lunch and doing a little shopping, the pair leaned into warmer temperatures with their outfits on the girls’ afternoon.

Braunwyn opted for a printed maxi dress with a pair of white sneakers, strolling with a white handbag and a cup of takeaway coffee.
She accessorized the look with colorful hanging earrings and a pair of tinted shades, bringing her jeweled face mask to her chin to have a sip of her beverage.
Dr Deb — who describes herself as a ‘medicine woman’ and a family practitioner — showed off her quirky style as she strolled in patchworked pants and a studded jacket with a fanny pack around her waist.
She continued to add flare to her look with a rainbow face mask to match her colorful dreadlocks.

The pair had a little fun while shopping as both Braunwyn and her mother posted photos as they tried on some clothes, before Burke peeled off to take a brief phone call.
Deb and Braunwyn have had a relationship of ups and downs that has played out on the hit Bravo show, most recently telling her daughter on camera that she was ‘more boring,’ after coming out as an alcoholic and pursuing sobriety.
Seemingly having worked through some of their issues, Deb paid tribute to her daughter on Tuesday with a photo series as she wrote:
‘Being and becoming sober is an elevated, disciplined state….She’s set down the baggage containing what was keeping her poor in mind, body, soul. She’s getting the help. Happy, healthy, out of the closet, sober, the true riches of life.’

A family affair out in the desert where Deb has a house, Braunwyn’s seven kids — who she shares with husband of 20 years Sean — seemed to be present as she posted a photo with her daughter Koa, five.
Their marriage was a hot button topic on the most recent season of the hit Bravo show, as Braunwyn confronted her sexuality while on her journey of sobriety, eventually coming out as a lesbian.
Despite admitting that she was never ‘attracted to men’ or Sean, and snatching up a girlfriend named Kristina, the pair still live together and have no plans for divorce, with Braunwyn photographed with her wedding rings on.
When Braunwyn hit her year of sobriety on January 30, only Sean was by her side at the celebratory beach picnic (despite both having admitted he enabled her drinking throughout the years), but she is reportedly also still dating Kristina.
In conversation with Us Weekly in January, Braunwyn spoke about balancing what many deem as an unconventional family life.

Last month she was photographed going for a hike with Sean just one day after going on one with Kris, as she continues to compartmentalize those parts of her life.
With regards to returning to the Bravo show for another season, producer Andy Cohen set the internet ablaze after hinting there will be a casting shakeup.
When one fan tweeted ‘It’s time to cancel RHOC,’ Cohen responded with ‘I think you mean reBOOT,’ alluding to both cleaning house and possibly throwing some veteran OC housewives into the mix.
