Jules Robinson becomes the FIRST Married At First Sight star to reach 500k Instagram followers despite a string of cringeworthy sponsored posts… beating Bondi influencer Martha Kalifatidis

She welcomed her first son Oliver with her on-screen – and now off-screen – husband Cameron Merchant in October last year.

But Jules Robinson had something else to celebrate this week, as she became the first Married At First Sight contestant to reach 500k Instagram followers on Thursday – beating Bondi influencer Martha Kalifatidis in the process.

Despite sharing a string of sponsored content, Jules, 38, has racked up a massive 533k followers on her social media page.

Martha is not far behind with 492k followers, Elizabeth Sobinoff – who has appeared on the show twice – has 398k, while Jules’ husband Cam also has an impressive 348,000.

Since appearing on the reality TV franchise, Cam and Jules have shared a string of cringeworthy paid-for posts on their respective pages.

In October, Jules shared three sponsored posts in just 24 hours, in an effort to help out new mothers with the task of juggling their busy schedules.

First off Jules promoted Urban Company, who offer a home deep cleaning service, and then offered her followers a code for $15 off their first booking.

Just hours later, Jules went on to promote Personally Picked – a company that creates personalised gift boxes.

Jules had received her own box containing children’s books and beauty products, before panning her iPhone over the goodies while thanking and tagging the brand.

Around a similar time, she promoted Elevitaus – a pre-conception and pregnancy multivitamin –  informing her fans she took them before and during her own pregnancy.

In June, Cameron was trolled by fans after launching an IGTV series #DadCam, in which he tried out a string of new baby products.

While the video received mostly positive comments from Cam’s fans, one follower left a nasty comment saying the clip featured too many sponsored products.

‘How many paid sponsorships you can push into a 2 min video?’ one fan wrote, while another responded: ‘I counted 23.’

Despite a touch of negativity, the two are arguably the most successful couple to come out of the Australian franchise to date.
