Rebel Wilson praised her friend, Czech tennis star Karolína Muchová, after she beat Ash Barty on Wednesday.
The 40-year-old shared video on Instagram Stories showing herself at her home in the US with her feet up, while watching the quarter-final game play out on her TV and laptop.
She wrote in the caption: ‘Obviously Ash is an Aussie legend and we’re all rooting for her… but also very proud of my friend @karolinamuchova.’

In the background of the clip, Rebel cheered on her pal saying: ‘You legend, c’mon’ and ‘Woooo, what a shot, yes.’
The Pitch Perfect star added a ‘well done’ after her friend took out the final point to win the match.
It’s not the first time she has shown her support for the world number 27.
In 2019, Rebel was seen watching Karolina’s game against Elina Svitolina from her player’s box.

After loosing that match, Karolína spoke about her friendship with Rebel at the 2019 Wimbledon tournament and revealed it was the Pitch Perfect star who reached out.
The Czech star told reporters at a press conference in 2019: ‘You know, she texted me last year at the US Open. She likes tennis. We’re friends. She’s super nice.’
She explained that Rebel got in touch with her during the 2018 US Open and the two went out for dinner in New York.

‘Yeah, it’s crazy. She texted me on Twitter last year when I beat (Garbine) Muguruza, so she texted me. I was, like, “Wow”. I was surprised about that. Yeah, she’s just super chill and super nice person,’ Karolína added.

More recently, in November, the friends caught up at the luxury Austrian medical spa, VivaMayr resort, where Rebel posted a selfie of them outdoors by the lake.
