Married At First Sight ‘villain’ Davina Rankin reveals why she refused an invitation to appear in the Grand Reunion special
The Married At First Sight Grand Reunion special featured plenty of drama between the former cast members.
But, sadly Davina Rankin, who infamously had an ‘affair’ with Dean Wells on Season five of the Channel Nine social experiment, failed to make an appearance.
As reported by The Wash, the 29-year-old reality star revealed why she refused to appear in the hotly anticipated reunion on her Instagram Stories on Monday.

‘Yes, I did get invited to go, but I have a little munchkin at home now. I am very happy to leave that part of my life in the past,’ Davina confirmed.
‘For me to go back in there its unnecessary but it was really cool to see everyone from my season back there – but also really weird to see just how much drama goes on in all the other seasons compared to ours.’ she added.
The brunette said she enjoyed watching the show from her own couch.

Davina outraged viewers in 2017 when she ‘cheated’ on her TV husband Ryan Gallagher with Dean Wells on Married At First Sight.
She was quickly branded the ‘villain’ of the season, and was subjected to online bullying for months after the show ended.

However, Davina has kept out of trouble since MAFS, while many of her former co-stars, including Tracey Jewel, have been in multiple scandals and controversies.
She has also been in a serious relationship with partner Jaxon Manuel since the show ended.
The couple welcomed a daughter named Mila-Mae in November 2019.
