Wayne Lineker, 58, has spent the majority of his time lately repeating that he ‘only dates girls under 30’.
And so viewers of Celebs Go Dating were perhaps not surprised when he said it again on Wednesday night’s show – but to his date.
Wayne was chatting to Hannah, 39, and told her he mostly dates ’25-years-old’, leading her to exclaim ‘I feel like an OAP now’.

He then went on to assure her that he might be older but that ‘everything still works’ before making a crude joke about ‘slipping out’.
‘Wayne is the least mature person in a house full of 20 somethings. Strange!’ one person remarked on Twitter.
Another posted: ‘Anyone else feel uncomfortable every time Wayne comes on the screen? “I won’t date older than 39”… sweetie your 58 why?’
‘If you told Wayne that Hannah was 19 instead of 39 I’m sure he would suddenly feel the “spark”… funny that…!’ another penned.

The episode saw the other men enjoying dates with their chosen partners, with Tom Zanetti seemingly uninterested in his choice, Carla, while Karim Zeroual’s romance looked to be going from strength to strength with Whitney.
He declared that he was ‘following her around like a puppy dog,’ while she admitted she was ‘obsessed’ with him.
Things also took a turn with Sophie Hermann, who was told by Luis – whom she knew from before as her personal trainer – that he really liked her.
Honest as ever, Sophie admitted she didn’t feel the same and preferred them as friends.
