Amy Poehler steps out in a tasty pair of cheeseburger sneakers as she goes grocery shopping in LA

Amy Poehler has been one of the funniest people on television since she debuted on Saturday Night Live in 2001.

And the Golden Globe winner knows how to keep the world laughing even when she’s off duty.

She stepped out in a tasty pair of Current Mood cheeseburger sneakers Tuesday, impeccably complementing a business casual look, as she went grocery shopping at Bristol Farms in Los Angeles.

The 49-year-old layered a dark olive green blazer over a grey sweatshirt with some dark denim skinny jeans.

She wore a black face mask with gold chain straps, along with a black belt bag across her chest, as she pushed her grocery cart to her car. 

Poehler is reuniting with pal Tina Fey to host this year’s Golden Globe Awards, which airs February 28 on NBC, live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. 

Although the awards show usually takes place in January, this year’s event has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the appearance, she promoted her new directorial effort Moxie, about a shy 16-year-old girl who publishes an anonymous zine, calling out sexism in her school.

She referenced her 2019 Netflix movie Wine Country, telling Meyers: ‘I really had great experiences on both. I think with Wine Country, it was a little more sisterly. And I would guess maybe in this film Moxie, I perhaps was a little bit more maternal.

‘I don’t know, Moxie is more dramatic. And it deals with some deeper issues, so there was a lot of sensitive subject matter and very thoughtful preparation and discussions from the cast. In Wine Country, I don’t think anyone even read the script.’

The Parks and Recreation star also revealed what she’s been binging during quarantine: ‘Well I’ve been watching an amazing new show. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Which is ER.

‘And I’ve been watching it from top to bottom. This is my third time through in my lifetime and I can’t stop watching ER.’
