And it seems Piers Morgan’s dreams have come true as his plans for a £15,000 soundproof pod in the garden of his Kensington home have reportedly been approved.
The Good Morning Britain star, 55, will finally get the peace and quiet he craves as the building works for the eco-friendly structure have been given the green light.

However, work on the soundproof pod has been limited to certain hours, 8am until 6pm, during the week, while building work will not be permitted at weekends.
According to The Sun, the temporary waterproof structure ‘comprises a curved plywood structural box with encapsulated fibreglass insulation, plasterboard finish internally and comes complete with heating, lighting and power.’
They add: ‘The pod has high levels of acoustic and thermal insulation together with generous natural light.’

The publication reports that the pod will act as an office for the broadcaster, adding that it will ‘provide a quiet, remote working space separate from the house.’

Piers’ grand plans were first revealed in November last year, when he complained of needing an escape as wife Celia, 44, and nine-year-old daughter Elise had taken over the house.
Bemoaning his living situation and discussing his plans on Good Morning Britain, Piers explained: ‘It’s a man cave that goes in the back of the garden.

‘I’ve got three women in my house and I’m sick and tired of the encroachment into all male areas of my house.
‘Everything’s been taken over; my bathroom, my office, everything.
‘So I’ve made a stand and I’m now having a large man cave in the garden.’

He added: ‘I will be in there most of the day, every day, planning my global operation.’
The TV star had previously revealed that he hoped to use his new man cave to work on ideas for another book, after the success of his latest release Wake Up: Why The World Has Gone Nuts.
