Nicole Trunfio is currently on day four of hotel quarantine in Australia after flying in from the U.S. last week.

But her hashtags seemed to cause concern among her followers, prompting the mother of three to clarify she was doing fine.

Following protocol: On Wednesday, model Nicole Trunfio revealed she is currently on day four of her hotel quarantine on her Instagram Story, after travelling to Australia for a ‘very special reason’

She made it clear she didn’t have Covid-19 and was instead in a hotel because all overseas travellers must do 14 days of quarantine upon arrival in Australia.

She explained: ‘I’m not sick. I flew to Australia a few days ago and the protocol for coming to Australia is – first of all they’re not letting anyone in, period. It has to be a very special reason.’

While Nicole did not specify her ‘special reason’ for flying home, she revealed that her flight over was a packed with 50 passengers.

‘When you get here you get a police escort, you go on a bus, you get taken to a Covid hotel. There’s many of them around the city, that is dedicated towards people coming into the country,’ she said.

‘You get locked in a hotel room, a nice one, for two weeks, 14 days.’
