Kate Beckinsale’s daughter Lily Mo had a dream that Kate was pregnant with Nick Nolte’s twins

She’s gifted in seeing the brighter side of any situation.

Kate Beckinsale shared a screen capture of a highly amusing text exchange with her daughter Lily Mo Sheen on Tuesday, along with an equally entertaining caption.

The Brokedown Palace star, 47, received a message from her daughter, 21, that detailed a rather odd dream she had.

The messages came underneath a photo of Kate’s rather unfortunate-looking gray cat Willow, who regularly makes appearances all over her social media feed. 

‘I just woke up from a dream where u had gotten pregnant w twins from a 1 night stand w nick nolte,’ Lily‘s text to her mother read.

Beckinsale responded, ‘By far the meanest text you have ever sent me’.

In the caption, the White Out star wrote, ‘It’s just nice to know you’re on your child’s mind really’.

Lily Mo is the actress’s daughter with her ex-partner Michael Sheen.

Kate and Michael, 51, were in a relationship from 1995 until 2003, after meeting while touring with a theatrical production of The Seagull.

Sheen also appeared with Beckinsale in the Underworld films, directed by Len Wiseman.

During the filming of the first film released in 2003, Kate and her director fell in love, going on to get married a year later. 

The pair do not have any children and announced their separation in late 2015.  

Their divorce was finalized four years later, in November 2019.

As for Michael, he has been in a new relationship with Swedish actress Anna Lundberg since 2019.

He and Anna, 25, welcomed their daughter Lyra late that same year.
