Andy replied saying: ‘You would be superb!’ and Dionne wrote: ‘I am documenting this. No take backs!’

Dionne has delighted fans on Twitter in recent months and says her Queen-of-Twitter title is ‘amusing.’

The star decided to engage with social media more amid the Covid-19 lockdown earlier this year, and she’s loving the experience.

Asked about being called the Queen of Twitter, she told Entertainment Tonight: ‘I find it quite amusing. After Covid-19 shut down the entertainment industry, I’ve been home since March just kind of using this [time] as sort of a vacation, something I’ve never had in all these years.

‘I got to know my home, I got to sleep in my own bed, and make my own meals when I wanted them. But then after a while, that becomes old, and I noticed how much fun my nieces and nephews were having with this thing called tweeting. I said, “Well, how can I do it? I wanna do it.”‘

Dionne was inspired to join the micro-blogging platform by her niece, Brittani.

She explained: ‘She showed me how and I’ve been having the best time. Just kind of, you know, being me!’

Earlier this month Warwick shared a new video with her 290K followers, asking her fans if she, ‘did a series, would you guys really watch?’

She didn’t even ask fans who they think should play her, as she knew the answer quite definitively, actress-singer Teyana Taylor, with both Taylor and the Netflix streaming service seemingly showing interest.

Warwick said, ‘This is a case for @Netflix. Please don’t ask who I would cast to play me as it would obviously be @TEYANATAYLOR.’

Taylor responded by quote-retweeting Warwick, responding with a number of ‘raising hands’ emojis in praise.

Netflix took note, quite literally, tweeting, ‘Taking notes’ in response to Warwick’s tweet, who responded back, ‘I’ll call ya!’

While it remains to be see if anything will actually manifest from these tweets, Warwick did use Twitter to collaborate with Chance the Rapper.

Warwick made headlines earlier this month when she tweeted at Chance the Rapper (real name Chancelor Jonathan Bennett), 27, asking why he put ‘the Rapper’ in his stage name.

She added that his new song Holy with Justin Bieber is one of her, ‘favorite songs right now.’

Chance responded, ‘Sorry I’m still freaking out that u know who I am. This is amazing!’ adding in another tweet, ‘I’ll be whatever you wanna all me Ms. Warwick. God bless you.’

Warwick responded, ‘Of course I know you. You’re THE rapper. Let’s rap together. I’ll message you,’ which seemingly lead to this collaboration.

That Twitter exchange lead to a real-life collaboration for a song entitled Nothing’s Impossible, written by Warwick’s son Damon Elliott, with portions of the song’s proceeds going to charity.

Elliot, 47, who has produced albums for Destiny’s Child, P!nk, Mya, Christina Aguilera and more, issued a statement revealing him and his mother, ‘I had a moment to speak with Chance’ after the Twitter exchange.

They added that the single will be recorded soon, with portions of the proceeds going to the Hunger Not Impossible initiative.
