She shared a selfie in front of her full and festive tree that was sparkling with white twinkle lights and covered in cherished ornaments.

Wearing her eyeglasses, the makeup free star smirked in the snap with her sandy toned hair swept back in a messy bun.

‘House and tree done…. it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,’ she captioned the post which included a look at her front door covered in lit greenery.

Shields has been getting into the holiday spirit for weeks now as she is currently filming a holiday flick for Netflix titled A Castle for Christmas.

The actress has been getting back and forth to Scotland to shoot the rom-com alongside star Carey Elwes.

Production began in September on the film which sees Shields play a famous author who travels abroad to buy a castle from a Scottish Duke who doesn’t want to sell, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Eventually, the pair work to find a compromise, ‘but along the way they just may find more than they bargained for,’ as they butt heads and possibly find love.

The six-week shoot was filmed as the coronavirus pandemic raged on but the cast and crew of A Castle for Christmas were tested regularly for the deadly virus.
