Katie Price’s ‘Christmas with kids in jeopardy as she prepares to take Covid test after Turkey trip’

Katie Price’s dreams of spending Christmas with all five of her children has reportedly been put in jeopardy following her emergency trip to Turkey to get her teeth fixed.

The former glamour model, 42, and boyfriend Carl Woods, 31, headed to the country earlier this week for urgent dental treatment after two of her veneers – which she had fitted in the summer – fell out.

And after jetting home on Saturday, Katie plans to pay for a private Covid-19 test and will then face an anxious wait to see if it comes back as negative, reports The Mirror.

Oh no: Katie Price’s dreams of spending Christmas with all five of her children has reportedly been put in jeopardy following her emergency trip to Turkey to get her teeth fixed

It is said that this year, Katie had agreed with her children’s fathers to have the kids over Christmas, with the star having been excited at having a perfect Christmas with her family.

However, with her eldest son Harvey, 18, falling into the vulnerable category with his many health issues, Katie is thought to be taking extra precautions to keep him safe.

The reality star is determined to take the Covid-19 test in a bid to protect Harvey – who has Prader-Willi Syndrome among other ailments – even if a negative result will see her festive plans in tatters.

If she does test positive, Katie will be forced to spend a quiet Christmas with just herself and beau Carl, who accompanied her to Turkey.

Turkey is currently not on the UK’s travel corridor list so Katie and Carl will have to complete two weeks quarantine upon their return home.

But she’ll only be able to do so with her beloved children if the results come back negative.

Katie shares children Junior, 15, and Princess with ex husband Peter Andre, while she has Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, with Kieran Hayler. Harvey’s father is Dwight York.

A representative of Katie told the publication: ‘Katie more than anyone knows the importance of staying safe, especially over Christmas and will be taking a test to ensure the family can spend it all together.’

MailOnline have reached out to Katie’s representatives for comment.

Katie has already documented on her Instagram that she had landed in the UK on Saturday, so time will tell what her test results will be.

It was reported earlier this week that Katie has returned to the same dental clinic who replaced her teeth in the summer, after two of her veneers came out while holidaying in the Maldives with boyfriend Carl in October.

A source told The Sun Online: ‘Katie can’t leave it any longer, so she’s gone away with Carl to get her teeth sorted.

‘She’s gone back to the same place that put them in earlier this year.

‘It means she’ll have to isolate for two weeks over Christmas but she’s not bothered as she was looking forward to a cosy holiday at home with the kids anyway.’

Katie and her beau spent a few days in the country in order to repair her teeth, while Carl got his teeth whitened.

England’s travel guidelines currently state that those travelling from a country not on the travel corridor list must isolate for 14 days.

Those who fail to isolate and are caught doing so can be fined up to £10,000.

In October Katie was left ‘horrified’ after her brand new veneers fell out revealing huge gaps in her smile.

She stunned fans in August when she revealed her real teeth after travelling to Turkey to have her new veneers fitted, joking they made her look ‘like a Bond villain.’

Katie’s Christmas worries comes amid her fears it may be her last Christmas with terminally ill mum Amy amid her battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

The ex model claimed on Friday that she was worried about ‘how long’ she’ll have with her mother as her health has deteriorated in recent weeks.

Claiming that the last few festive seasons have ‘been s**t’, Katie said she is trying to remain positive under the circumstances.

Speaking with The Sun, Katie explained: ‘This year my mum deteriorated more so I just want to do really Christmas this year because I don’t know how long she will be here.’

‘There is nothing we can do about that, that is what I speak to a therapist about, what I am going to have to deal with.’

‘I am not saying it will be her last Christmas but I really want to enjoy it. I am really looking forward to this Christmas. The last couple have been s**t.’

Amy revealed in 2017 that she was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that causes scarring on the lungs.

When Amy was first diagnosed with IPF, she was given a three to five year life expectancy by doctors.

In recent months Amy has been shielding from her family to protect herself during the COVID-19 pandemic, with Katie only able to see her mum through the window.

The pair were able to see each other in October alongside Katie’s half-sister Sophie, after they passed a coronavirus test so they knew they were safe to see Amy on her birthday.
