‘Only seven days to go!’ Cricketer Steve Smith counts down until he’s reunited with his wife Dani Willis after spending four months apart
Steve Smith and his wife Dani Willis have spent months apart due to the cricketer’s sporting commitments.
But the sports star has clearly been missing his wife and is counting down the days until the couple are back together.
The 31-year-old shared a photo of himself and Dani to Instagram on Wednesday and wrote: ‘114 days down and only 7 to go!’

‘It’s been a long 4 1/2 months away from my wife but I can’t wait for her to join me in Melbourne next week just in time for Christmas!’
Steve recently returned to Australia and completed two weeks of mandatory hotel quarantine after competing in the Indian Premier League in the UAE.
The Indian Premier League started on September 19.

Before that, in August, he had also been away for a white-ball series in England.
During their time apart, Steve and Dani celebrated their second wedding anniversary on September 15.
Steve shared a heartwarming tribute to his wife on Instagram as the pair celebrated their anniversary.

‘Happy 2nd wedding anniversary to my beautiful wife @dani_willis unfortunately we can’t be together today but you are in my thoughts every second of the the day,’ he wrote.
‘2 years have gone so fast and I can’t wait to spend many more years by your side. I love you very much.’
Dani also shared a photograph of the couple to Instagram and wrote: ‘Happy second wedding anniversary Steve. I love you!’
