Serena Williams has a blast sledding on fake snow in Florida as daughter Olympia, three, gives her a push down the slope

She might be in Florida but that isn’t stopping Serena Williams enjoying some fun in the snow.

The tennis pro had a blast sledding on fake snow this week and shared a clip of the moment to Instagram, revealing that daughter Olympia, three, helped give her a little push down the slope.

‘Florida snow days by @alexisohanian thanks for pushing me @olympiaohanian’, Serena captioned the video, revealing that her husband Alexis Ohanian created the winter wonderland.

Feeling festive: Serena Williams had some fun on fake snow on Friday after husband Alexis Ohanian made a slope for the family to sled down

Serena, 39, could be seen in a stylish cream dress and cardigan with Ugg boots as she sat on a saucer sled.

The tennis champion screamed as she whooshed down the man-made slope made of some bales of hay.

In another clip Olympia could be seen having her turn wearing a matching outfit to her mom.

Meanwhile, Serena has signed her daughter up for tennis lessons. The sports star revealed in October that Olympia is already taking her first steps on the tennis court.

Serena – who was initially coached by her dad Richard Williams – said on her Instagram Story: ‘I signed Olympia up for tennis lessons. Don’t even start with me because I’m not giving her tennis lessons, I signed her up for some.

‘But the lady has no idea that it’s my daughter, so we’ll see how that goes.’

Serena denied being a pushy parent. However, the Grand Slam-winning star is keen to see her daughter develop some basic tennis techniques.

She said: ‘I’m not a pushy mom, but I know how I like techniques – I want to make sure she’s good at teaching Olympia some techniques.’

Meanwhile, Serena previously suggested that becoming a parent could actually help her tennis career.

The sports icon thinks that focusing so much attention on Olympia could allow her to relax when she’s on court.

Serena – whose sister Venus has also enjoyed a stellar tennis career – explained: ‘When I’m too anxious I lose matches, and I feel like a lot of that anxiety disappeared when Olympia was born.

‘Knowing I’ve got this beautiful baby to go home to makes me feel like I don’t have to play another match.’

Serena also insisted she’s not extending her career just to win more money.

She said: ‘I don’t need the money or the titles or the prestige. I want them, but I don’t need them. That’s a different feeling for me.’
