Rebel Wilson continues to add her to impressive 40lb weight loss during her ‘year of health,’ as she aims to lose her last four pounds to achieve her goal weight.

While staying at the luxury Vivamayr Altaussee medical wellness center in Lake Altaussee, Austria, the 40-year-old Australian comedienne has been getting a series of high-end treatments to give her that ‘boost.’

Taking to Instagram to share some scenic snaps while getting some fresh alpine air, the shrinking actress showed off her playful side as she sat on a see-saw.

Dressed down for a day of activities in a sweatshirt and leggings, Rebel straddled the see-saw as she teased her 9M instagram fans, ‘You’ll never guess who’s at the other end of this see-saw.’

Fans were quick to guess that maybe her boyfriend Jacob Busch, 29, had flown in to visit her ahead of the holidays as she continues to shed her final pounds.

Reportedly hoping to achieve an optimal weight of 165 pounds, the Bridesmaids actress has been training and going for long walks at the breathtaking resort.

After first visiting the resort last year, Wilson told People magazine that she had opted to return to finish the year off strong.

‘I went back because 2021 is going to be an insanely busy year with project after project, so I wanted to come back to VivaMayr,’ she said.

She continued to say she is hoping to ‘boost my immune system and lose my last two kilos,’ as she credits them for jump-starting her weight loss journey.

Added boost: Feeling confident that the resort which jumpstarted her weight loss in 2019 would help her shed her last few pounds, she is focusing on exercise and adhering to a diet called the Mayr Cure

In addition to her fair share of physical activity, the wellness center is known for their regimented diet plan based on the ‘Mayr Cure,’ which is a food philosophy created in 1901.

The plan aims to eliminate snacking and reduce gluten and dairy intake, while focusing on high alkaline foods like vegetables and fish.

‘It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation,’ a source close to Wilson shared.

Once sharing that she was consuming up to 3,000 calories a day of basically all carbs she credit a high-protein diet with making her feel fuller and helping her achieve her weight loss.

Not getting too hard on herself if she has a few slip-ups she said, ‘It doesn’t mean every week is a healthy week. Some weeks are just write-offs, and there’s nothing you can do about that,’ she said.

Speaking about keeping the weight off long-term Wilson was able to pinpoint that her continued success comes from loving herself.

‘I think I was emotional eating, and overeating at times, because I wasn’t loving myself enough either. And it does come down to that self-worth and self-love,’ she said.
