Keira Maguire’s ex from Bachelor in Paradise Alex Mckay has found love again

He briefly dated Keira Maguire on Bachelor in Paradise, before they decided that they were nothing more than friends. 

But on Monday, Alex Mckay revealed that he has once again found love since appearing on the Channel Ten dating show. 

Posting to Instagram, the reality star shared a series of loved-up photos with his new girlfriend. 

‘Waited patiently for a long time for you and for this feeling! Very grateful! @mich_nich,’ he captioned the post. 

The couple were all smiles as they posed for selfies while enjoying a picnic at the beach with a golden retriever dog. 

Alex and his new love were laying on the grass in two of the images before they posed in front of the ocean. 

In another image, Alex looked thrilled as his new girlfriend planted a kiss on his cheek. 

The pair kept sun safe for the outing – with Alex wearing a cap and his girlfriend in a pink bucket hat that matched her bikini.  

During their time on Bachelor in Paradise, Keira decided to quit the show – forcing love interest Alex to do the same.

She was upset when she learned that no more contestants would be arriving in Fiji.

And while Alex had given her his rose the night before, he’d also made it clear he was not romantically interested in the bubbly blonde.

‘Obviously we’ve talked a few times and there’s nothing there, so what’s the point of sticking around?’ she told him at the time. ‘I gotta go for someone who can handle me.’

‘That’s it. Fair enough. If you want to go home, I’m more than happy to go home as well,’ Alex said.

‘It was just good to have someone, like, show interest in me from, like, day one. Like, it was sick.

‘I really did enjoy spending time with ya and obviously it just couldn’t build into anything further than that,’ he added.

Keira has since found love with Love Island Australia star Matthew Zukowski.
