It looks like Adrian Baena will have his heart broken during The Bachelorette finale, which airs on Thursday night.

Despite insisting he can see a future with Becky Miles, it’s now clear the 26-year-old kitesurfing instructor doesn’t win the show.

A video surfaced on Instagram on Wednesday of Adrian’s family watching hometown visits – and their commentary is very telling indeed.

While watching Becky, 30, speak about their successful date, somebody can be heard saying off camera: ‘Poor Adrian. He is probably devastated.’

‘Why didn’t she f**king chose you then?’ another yells out in frustration.

Elsewhere in the leaked footage, Adrian’s mother can be heard explaining how her son had put his heart on the line for Becky.

‘He’s not lying, you can see he’s not lying,’ she says.

Meanwhile, Adrian has surprised viewers by lasting so long on the show, after telling Becky early in the season that he was only there to ‘have fun’.

But an on-set source has told Daily Mail Australia his feelings towards Becky actually developed over time. 

‘He eventually developed a soft spot for her,’ the insider claimed.

The Bachelorette finale airs Thursday at 7.30pm on Channel 10
