Schapelle Corby sent Firass Dirani a text message saying ‘he wasn’t to blame’ for her SAS exit

EXCLUSIVE: All is forgiven! Schapelle Corby sent Firass Dirani a text message saying ‘he wasn’t to blame’ for her quitting SAS Australia

An emotional Schapelle Corby quit SAS Australia last month, after being forced to run a series of laps as part of a punishment – a result of her fellow recruit Firass Dirani’s bratty behaviour.

And now Daily Mail Australia understands Schapelle has forgiven the actor.

The 43-year-old sent the Underbelly actor a text message on October 21, following online backlash he was to blame for her departure.

‘She felt bad that everyone blaming Firass for her quitting the show,’ a close friend of Schapelle’s revealed on Wednesday.

In the text Schapelle explained that it ‘wasn’t his fault’, and that she had voluntarily withdrew from the challenge because she simply couldn’t go any further.

Earlier this season, chief instructor Ant Middleton asked the celebrity recruits if they’d heard the phrase ‘loose lips sink ships’.

He then singled Firass, and referred to an incident earlier on in the show when Firass jeeringly said he’d hoped they be running.

But Schapelle struggled to keep up during the punishing exercise, turning in her armband and consequently quitting the show.

A furious Ant then turned to Firass and the other recruits, and explained what had just happened.

‘Out of three VW’s (voluntarily withdrawal), two of them can thank this man here,’ he said, pointing at Firass.

Ant then made Firass turn and face his team, before informing him: ‘It’s not about you. Do not be that selfish p***k.’

Viewers watching from home had slammed the former House Husbands star on social media.

‘In a group including drug smugglers and con artists somehow Firass Dirani has made himself the worst person there,’ one viewer tweeted.

‘You just know that Firass would’ve been that kid at school that made the whole class get detention,’ added another.
