Kendall Jenner brushes aside controversy as she shares more racy snaps from her wild birthday party

Kendall Jenner brushed aside the controversy she faced for throwing a huge 25th birthday party over the weekend as she shared more images from the Halloween-themed bash to Instagram on Monday evening.

The supermodel channelled Pamela Anderson from 1996’s cult classic Barb Wire in a leather leotard and fishnet tights as she posed up a storm for the photos, as well as a Boomerang clip which showed a friend cheekily grabbing her bottom.

While all attendees and staff were required to have a COVID-19 test before entering the event, sources have claimed employees at Harriet’s Rooftop in West Hollywood’s 1 Hotel felt ‘uncomfortable’ as 100 guests reportedly refused to wear face masks.

The catwalk queen took centre stage in her sexy number, which also came complete with leather thigh-high boots and sheer evening gloves.

Ditching her brunette tresses, the KUWTK personality sported a curly blonde wig and opted for thinly-penciled eyebrows to emulate the retro look.

The fashion star ensured her social media followers voted in the US election as she captioned her post: ‘Barb voted… your turn!!!’ (sic).

Kendall’s recent upload came amid claims hotel staff were left unimpressed by partygoers’ alleged refusal to wear face masks and socially distance.

According to The Sun, an insider said: ‘Kris and the entire family were well aware of the LA CDC rules and chose not to follow them. Because the party was on an outdoor deck, they felt they were doing their party in being safe.

‘But there was no social distancing, no masks besides the staff and over 100 people. The staff were under the impression it would be handled safely, no one felt comfortable.

‘They knew this party was going to be a bad look and they did not care. The family was openly talking about it before the party and debating how to best handle it. They decided to just go through with it and have a good time.’

The soirée – which saw the likes of Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith and Winnie Harlow in attendance – came comes just weeks after Kim Kardashian was met with criticism for flying her family and friends to a private island to celebrate her 40th birthday.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Kendall and 1 Hotel for further comment.

On Monday, Kendall’s mother Kris, 64, defended her party as she claimed protocols were in place for a healthy celebration for all.

The reality star told Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show about the expansive testing precautions in place for a packed guest list.

‘We are very lucky to work in an industry where we get tested once or twice a week,’ the Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch said. ‘I just got tested again. I was tested on Friday, because of the network rules while we are filming as you know, so that’s very strict.’

‘Whenever we have a gathering – no matter how big or small – no matter, you know, whether it’s five people or 25 people, you know, or 20 people, we have, like at Kendall’s, everyone got tested before they walked in the door and they had to wait, you know, a half an hour until the testing was, the results were in.’

The businesswoman insisted she ‘can’t control’ the online pushback, as many social media users said the famous family were flouting coronavirus rules.

She added: ‘We do what we can, we try to follow the rules. And then if people are, you know, they’re commenting and they’re being critical, I can’t control that – I just can control how we behave and, you know, try to do the best we can.’

Host Andy – who tested positive for the virus earlier this year – said he underwent a multi-step, coronavirus-friendly process on a recent visit to their home.

The presenter, 52, explained: ‘I will say we, we did something together a month or two ago, and the protocols to getting, it was at one of the girl’s houses, I was sent to a location on the way to the house I was tested.

‘And they said, if you get to the house and the gate opens, that means you tested negative. ‘A half hour later, and that gate went open. I was like, all right, it’s all good. But yeah, you guys are, you guys are quite, you guys are quite careful.’

LA mayor Eric Garcetti had previously vowed to cut off utilities at a separate Hollywood Hills home after it hosted several house parties.

California continues to reel from the impact of COVID-19, with strict social distancing measures still in place across the city.

Gatherings of any sizes that contain people from different households are prohibited under Los Angeles County’s health order for the virus.
