Return? Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson, 30, has revealed she has been asked by show producers to film a scene with her brother Sam, 27, amid his split from Zara McDermott, 24

Speaking to MailOnline, she said: ‘I actually received a text from one of the producers asking whether I would do a scene with my brother next week and I don’t know.

‘Honestly if I had quite a lot of free time then I would do it because it’s fun and it’s harmless.’

She added: ‘For me to do a bit and dive in isn’t going to be detrimental to my mental health.

‘I always have memories of the best bits and you think: “Oh is it all really fun and wonderful and dramatic and exciting and youthful.”

‘Then I will go back and it is quite flat and I will watch it and be like: “Oh my god five hours have gone into one minute and they used the bits that I didn’t really want!”‘

She added: ‘Like I wish I hadn’t said that! So to be completely honest, sometimes I am a bit disappointed afterwards, and then I say: “Ok I am not going to do it again.”

‘But then I receive a text like and think oh there is no harm in doing it!’

She continued: ‘I kind of think if I film it is going to be fun because I will be in that house and I get to listen to Tristan and Verity having a fight and then I can hang out with all these new people that I have never met before.

‘But actually it will just be me sat at my brother’s house which I do everyday anyway so it will be pretty boring!’

Louise’s younger brother Sam, 27, recently parted ways with ex girlfriend Zara, 24, after an 18 month relationship, amid claims she cheated on him while taking part in The X Factor: Celebrity last year.

The Love Island star was reportedly having crisis talks with Sam in a bid to salvage their relationship.

Their broken relationship is now reportedly ‘hanging in the balance’ as the pair have been unable to talk while Sam films The Circle with pal Pete Wicks, but Zara ‘is fighting hard to get him back’.

The MIC star has taken some time away from Zara to film the Channel 4 program, The Circle, but that reportedly hasn’t stopped her attempts to ask for forgiveness.

Louise, who became part of a central storyline on MIC due to her romance with Spencer Matthews, said she has started watching the show for the first time during lockdown.

She said: ‘I have actually started watching it! I never, ever watched it before. I just. didn’t watch it when I was in it because it just wasn’t healthy for me to watch it.

‘My brother [Sam] busted me watching it the other day and was like: “God Louise you are so middle-aged!”‘

The TV star also spoke of living with the inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis, where small ulcers can develop on the colon’s lining, after she was diagnosed with the condition in 2018.

Louise, who is an ambassador for Promise Gluten Free, described how she has cut down on gluten but added how she ‘loves bread’ and said: ‘It is not something you need to stay away from in order to be really healthy.’

Speaking about how her everyday life has changed since her diagnosis, she said: ‘I bulldoze through life at a really quick pace when I feel great.

‘I forget that it is important for me to slow down because when I do have a flare-up it is challenging for me to get out of it.

‘I lose a lot of blood and I get really tired – really grey and bad brain fog. I feel very swollen so anything I can to avoid falling into that trap is something that I will do.’

However the influencer, who founded fitness brand Live Like Louise, said she has ‘good and bad weeks’ after she revealed in September during an Instagram Q&A that she was ‘really unhappy for 10 years.’

She said: ‘I have good and bad weeks and I don’t know whether it’s because it’s hormonal because I am very hormonal.

‘I am using 2020 as an opportunity to slow down, figure out who I am, do more reading, feel my emotions, listen to my emotions, process all of the craziness that I experienced 10 years prior to this. I have never really had an opportunity to be like: “Oh what the hell did I do?”‘

‘I am really done with it now and I want to get on with normal life. And I suddenly feel very isolated and a bit lonely even though I am surrounded by a lot of really great people and I work with a lot of people, do loads of Zoom calls and I have my brother.’

Reflecting on her nine years on MIC, Louise revealed how she wished she had said ‘no’ more often which has led to her being a ‘really indecisive’ person as a result.

‘I feel like I would say things because that is what other people wanted to hear and not necessarily in the way that would paint me in the best light but it might have been the most dramatic,’ she said.

WHAT IS ULCERATIVE COLITIS?

 WHAT IS ULCERATIVE COLITIS?

Ulcerative colitis is a long-term condition, where the colon (the bowel) and rectum become inflamed. It affects around one in every 420 people living in the UK.

Small ulcers can develop on the colon’s lining, and can bleed and produce pus.

Symptoms include recurring diarrhoea, which may contain blood, mucus or pus, abdominal pain and needing to empty your bowels frequently.

People may also experience fatigue, loss of appetite and weight loss.

WHAT CAUSES ULCERATIVE COLITIS?

Ulcerative colitis is thought to be an autoimmune condition which means the immune system – the body’s defence against infection – goes wrong and attacks healthy tissue.

The most popular theory is that the immune system mistakes harmless bacteria inside the colon for a threat and attacks the tissues of the colon, causing it to become inflamed.

Exactly what causes the immune system to behave in this way is unclear. Most experts think it’s a combination of genetic and environmental factors.

‘I wish someone had slapped me round the face and taught me how to say “no” because I don’t think I ever said no.’

She ended: ‘I think with serious life questions like dating people, being asked on a date, being asked to do whatever by the producers I just wish I had said “no.”‘

Louise revealed she is excited for 2021 with the possibility of opening up Live Like Louise retreats in cabins in the woods which also provide guests with a digital detox.
