Julia Roberts is urging people to cast their ballots ahead of November 3. 

The 52-year-old actress posed in a power suit emblazoned with the word ‘vote’ in her latest Instagram which she posted on Monday. 

‘VOTE’ the actress wrote, and added a couple of heart emojis. ’15 Days to Go! #weareinthistogether #earlyvoting #challengeaccepted @ritawilson’.

Like many stars, Roberts is using her platform to encourage voting ahead of the presidential election.

Joe Biden is currently leading in the polls with 15 days until the election. Almost 29 million people have already cast their ballots. 

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman recently revealed she really wanted Roberts’ role in Notting Hill opposite Hugh Grant but ‘wasn’t talented enough’.

Kidman, 53, was talking about her early career to Marie Claire while promoting her new HBO series The Undoing with Grant, 60.

First the Aussie star admitted she wanted a role in Love Actually.

She recalled, ‘I think there was something where I think I really wanted a role… maybe I was gonna do a small role in Love, Actually at one point. Yeah. Yes.’

‘Were you? Which part?’ Grant asked.

‘I can’t remember. It was not a big role. And I really wanted the role that Julia Roberts played in Notting Hill… Yeah, I did. But I wasn’t well known enough, and I wasn’t talented enough.’

Roberts didn’t accept the role of Anna Scott straight away and revealed that she told her agent to pass on it as she felt the character was too similar to herself.

The story follows a very famous American actress who falls in love with a book shop owner in London, played by Grant.

After the movie came out, Roberts recalled to Vanity Fair what she thought of the role when she was first offered it.

‘”How boring. How tedious — what a stupid thing for me to do,” but then figured, “F**k, I’m going to do this movie.”‘

The movie became a huge hit making $364 million at the box office.
