Alex Jones shared a sweet glimpse at her sons Teddy, three, and Kit, 17 months, as they enjoyed a party at home on Monday.

The TV presenter, 43, filmed her little ones as they played together during the day, and even tested out a bubble machine that had disco lighting.

Following her children around, Alex could be heard cooing after them as Teddy and Kit danced to the music playing on a nearby television.

She then walked after Kit as he headed towards a small plastic chair, and she gushed he was so cute that she ‘could eat him!! (sic)’

The duo then enjoyed the bubble machine while listening to a rendition of Catch A Falling Star, and Teddy could be seen jumping in the air to reach the bubbles.

As his older brother leapt in the air, Kit was seen bouncing up and down with glee as he looked up at the bubbles.

Alex could be heard telling them: ‘Can you catch the bubbles like they’re stars? Look how many stars your catching Teddy.’

Her post comes after Alex insisted earlier this year that having two children was enough, ‘for the sake of the planet.’

Speaking candidly about her pregnancy with Good Housekeeping magazine’s April issue, she also claimed that she felt she’d ‘made unrealistic promises’ by taking just three months maternity leave.

She spoke about why she and her husband Charlie Thomson didn’t want to add to their brood, and explained: ‘Charlie is adamant that for the sake of the planet, two children is enough. And I think I’m too old to have another child now, anyway.

‘It happens for a lot of people and good for them, but we’re just glad we have two healthy children.’

Alex then discussed how she decided to take nine months of maternity leave after the birth of her second son.

When asked if she wish she’d had more time off during her maternity leave in 2017 after choosing only to have three months off, Alex said: ‘Definitely. I’d made unrealistic promises before I went off to have a baby.

‘I’d never had a child before; I had no idea. And I had this fear it would interfere, that I’d have to compromise my work life.

‘I now realise that was ridiculous because in fact I think it makes you better at work. It makes you a little bit more resilient which is what you have to be in this industry. And in life!’
