Michael Clarke is spotted leaving the gym in Sydney – after revealing his heartbreak at the sudden loss of his pet dog

He revealed his heartbreak after the devastating loss of his pet dog on Monday.

And on Tuesday, Michael Clarke, 39, tried to clear his head as he visited his local gym in Sydney.

The former Australian cricket captain was spotted leaving the fitness centre after he completed a workout.

Michael stepped out wearing black shorts, a white shirt and black puffer vest for his workout.

The sports star completed his outfit with a black cap and wore a comfortable pair of white sneakers.

He spoke on his mobile phone while holding onto a drink bottle and his car keys with his other hand.

On Monday, Michael revealed the devastating loss of his pet dog, Jerry on Instagram.

‘Sad day today in the Clarke household saying goodbye to my little mate, Jerry,’ he began. He added the hashtag #15goodyears and #RIP.

Later, he took to Instagram stories in order to show his four-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee hugging the beloved pet dog.

Michael’s girlfriend Pip Edwards also added a number of broken heart emojis to the emotional post.

Former wife Kyly Clarke also shared a picture of the pet dogs: ‘Been a tuff day today. My little furry buddy departed this family,’ she wrote.  

‘We will miss you Jed, thanks for the good times. Rest In Peace Jerry John.’

Michael and Pip began dating sometime in late 2019, following his split from his wife-of-seven-years, Kyly.

Their relationship didn’t become public knowledge, however, until after the Clarkes announced their separation on February 12.
