Christina Aguilera goes off the grid to celebrate daughter Summer’s sixth birthday

Christina Aguilera has been enjoying plenty of quality family time with her husband and kids during quarantine.

And the five-time Grammy winner has been making the most of their time together, as they take to the great outdoors.

She recently went off the grid to take the brood camping, as they celebrated daughter Summer Rain’s sixth birthday, with the help of some critters.

The 39-year-old posted some photos Monday to Instagram of the birthday girl with her own cardboard camper, which she made after the trip.

Aguilera wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my little artist! Summer Rain. She loved the campsite we went to so much, she decided to recreate her own camper from cardboard back home. 

‘This little gal is so smart and creative…with a vibrant sweet soul, the biggest heart and an adventurous free spirit. Unafraid to follow her own path and be herself no matter what. I am one proud, blessed mama bear. I love you my little Leo lioness…’

She also took to her Instagram Story with a photo of Summer hugging some ponies, as well as a video of a snake that crashed the party.

The proud mother-of-two captioned the video: ‘Went off the grid to celebrate Summer’s birthday.’

Fiancé Matthew Rutler, 35, wrote to their daughter: My little curious Leo. Happy Birthday Summer. I can’t believe that six years ago today you came into this world. I’ll never forget seeing you for the first time. 

‘It has been so bittersweet watching you grow up before my eyes. You love snakes but you give me butterflies and I couldn’t be more excited to watch you spread your wings and soar. I’ll be there for every flight. I love you. Daddy.’

Aguilera previously shared some photos and video from a family camping trip last month, as they enjoyed the great outdoors.

She was quite the doting mom as she posed with Summer and son Max Liron, 12, whom she shares with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, 43.
