The Masked Singer’s Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals the thing she did which left producers FUMING

The Masked Singer’s Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed the one thing she did, which annoyed producers during filming for the competitive singing series.

The radio host – who is serving as a judge on the Channel 10 show alongside Dannii Minogue, Hughesy and Urzila Carlson – explained that she woke up to a raging phone call after correctly guessing the identity of a singer the night before.

Speaking to news.com.au, the 45-year-old said: ‘They really don’t want us to guess. Producers are so terrified of us guessing, so they do make it hard for us.’ 

Last week, Jackie guessed that tennis star Mark Philippoussis was the celebrity behind the Echidna mask. 

However, the blonde’s painlessly easy guess didn’t go down too well with producers.  

Jackie recalled: ‘I did get a call the next day saying, “Tell me honestly, did you somehow know he was on the show?” 

‘I said, “No! I swear to you. I knew from the clue package it would be a sportsperson and what I did is I googled famous Australian sportspeople, and I saw his picture come up, and I looked into him.”

Jackie noted that the producers ‘were a little thrown’ that she had guessed the identity of the Echidna so easily.

On Thursday Jackie revealed that producers of The Masked Singer Australia were forced to turn away dozens of celebrities this year… because they couldn’t sing.

Jackie explained that producers want performers with a ‘good celebrity profile’ but ‘if they can’t really sing, they’re not going to be able to do it’.

She added: ‘They do want it to be entertaining and enjoyable, but [the contestants] need to have some sort of voice.’

Fortunately, this wasn’t a problem because so many celebrities expressed interest and producers were ‘spoilt for choice’.
