Julianne Hough celebrates her 32nd birthday with husband Brooks Laich…after announcing divorce

They regretfully announced in May that they were separating after three-years of marriage.

But Julianne Hough and her soon-to-be ex husband Brooks Laich, 37, looked amicable as can be as they celebrated the Dancing With The Stars alum’s 32nd birthday on Saturday. 

Hough’s BFF Nina Dobrev captured every moment of the surprise pool party on her Instagram Story, including a clip of Julianne impressively jumping over Brooks to land on a float.

‘Feeling super loved right now,’ wrote Julianne on her personal Instagram Story in regards to her surprise birthday shindig.     

Julianne – who officially turned 32 on Monday – flaunted her dancer physique in a white bikini that accentuated her tan. 

Julianne and Brooks’ sweet reunion came just days after a source disclosed to E! News that they were considering reuniting with one another in order to ‘repair’ their marriage.

The source claimed that the former professional hockey player initially felt ‘humiliated’ by the separation and refused to think about the possibility of a reunion. 

‘[Julianne] bruised his ego and left him feeling humiliated, but he never stopped loving her. He was doing all of this to give her what she needed. Now that some has passed, it seems like he’s more open to the idea of reconciling,’ explained the insider.   

‘It’s been a very fluid situation. They still love each other, and the lines of communication are open.’

The source also alleged that Julianne has recently found ‘herself missing Brooks’ and that ‘maybe she moved too quickly and didn’t appreciate what she and Brooks had together.’ 

Those feeling allegedly ‘really hit her over her birthday,’ which may have further  inspired her to reunite with Brooks on Saturday.   

Prior to playing around in the pool with Brooks, Julianne was busy cozying up to BFF Nina and her other closest gal pals inside her Los Angeles home.

‘Smooches for the bday gurl,’ captioned Nina, 31, as she and Julianne puckered up for the camera.  

When Julianne was not in a bikini, she was sporting an adorable flower crown and a checkered print maxi dress. 

In recent days, Brooks and Julianne – who wed in 2017 – have shared chummy comments on each other’s Instagram accounts.

Julianne shared a funny photo of herself puckered up while a thick strand of her messy hair blocked her face, which she used to promote a dance class.

‘You should frame this shot!!!’ Brooks joked in the comments.

Earlier in the week, when the former NHL player posted a faux thirst trap, she commented, ‘That booty though.’

The couple announced their separation on May 29 in a statement: ‘We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place. We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward.’
