Bachelor In Paradise fans SLAM producers for not giving Niranga Amarasinghe air time

‘Is he still on the island?’ Bachelor In Paradise fans SLAM producers for not giving enough air time to Niranga Amarasinghe …after he took a swipe at the show for its lack of diversity

Bachelor In Paradise viewers have taken aim at the show over the lack of airtime given to star, Niranga Amarasinghe.

Following the 28-year-old aircraft engineer’s stoush with Timm Hanly on Tuesday’s episode, a number of viewers were left fuming over his invisible edit.

One irate fan wrote: ‘If you were behind the decisions to completely overlook/exclude Niranga from airtime for two eps in a row please hit me up I just wanna have a lil chat.’

‘Is he still on the island?’ Bachelor In Paradise fans have slammed producers for not giving enough air time to Niranga Amarasinghe, 28, (pictured) on the reality dating series

Yet another wrote: ‘Finally a Niranga storyline,’ with a meme of iconic songstress Mariah Carey clapping.

While another wrote: ‘Niranga is still actually on the Island, right?’

It comes as the reality star got his first big storyline on the dating series after he hugged Ciarran Stott’s ex, Renee Barrett.

During Tuesday’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Timm went off at the dinner party when he saw Niranga and Renee hugging.

‘Niranga spent a week with Ciarran and Renee in Bali so he thinks he’s really good mates with Ciarran’s missus! You need to have Ciarran’s back, you rat,’ he said.

Niranga later said the pair were ‘just friends’ taking a swipe at Timm following the episode by sharing a photo of the pair hugging.

He took a swipe at the show’s perceived lack of diversity earlier this month, when he shared a photograph of the show’s cast.

‘People say one picture speaks a thousand words. This picture speaks an infinity,’ wrote Niranga to his 3000 followers.

In the promotional image, the male bachelors are seen standing behind the female bachelorettes they gave roses to.

In the centre of the group shot, Niranga is seen smiling, directly behind Mary Virturino.

The couple, at this stage, are the only people of colour on the show.
