They’re back! Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo have been announced as the judges of spin-off show Junior MasterChef Australia

MasterChef Australia: Back to Win may have wrapped up on Monday night during an intense grand finale. 

But now viewers will no doubt be thrilled to know that a spin-off show is in the works. 

According to News.com.au, Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo have just been announced as the judges on Junior MasterChef Australia, which is set to hit screens ‘soon.’

Melissa said in a statement that she is excited to be a judge on the show and that it will be ‘spectacular’ to see what the ‘next generation has in store.’ 

‘We are so thrilled to be bringing Junior MasterChef Australia to life very soon,’ Melissa said. 

‘To be showcasing a generation of kids who have grown up with the show and who have literally been cooking for most of their lives, you know this is going to be spectacular.’

She finished: ‘Jock, Andy and I are very excited to meet our incredible little cooks, and to see what the next generation has in store.’

According to News.com.au, the spin-off will feature children aged from nine to 14.

MasterChef Australia: Back to Win finished on Monday night as Emelia Jackson was crowned winner and took home a whopping $250,000. 

Laura Sharrad came runner-up and pocketed $30,000. 

Junior MasterChef Australia will air on Channel 10 soon.
