Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell shows off his own guns in grey as he hits gym in West Hollywood

Glen Powell was set to star in one of the biggest summer blockbusters, before the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick was delayed amid COVID-19.

But the Austin-born actor is keeping in leading man shape, as he maintains hit fitness routine during quarantine.

He put on a buff display Sunday, showing off his guns in a grey tank top, as he hit the gym in West Hollywood during a break from isolation.

The 31-year-old complemented the sleeveless shirt with matching grey gym shorts and a pair of black and white trainers with red details.

He finished the look with a blue Voltaggio STRFSH baseball cap, gold aviators and a black Reebok backpack.

Powell’s biggest role yet was supposed to hit theaters last month, but Top Gun: Maverick’s release was pushed to December 23.

He stars as naval pilot Hangman, alongside Tom Cruise, in the long overdue sequel to his seminal 1986 movie Top Gun.

The Scream Queens actor told People back in February of working with Cruise: ‘Tom’s as great as people think he is. He’s as nice, he’s as hardworking, he’s as generous, he’s as available. He’s the man.’  

He added: ‘The movie is in really, really good shape. I have never felt more confident about people being so pleased with what we’ve put out in this movie. 

‘I know there’s a lot of expectation on it, but obviously pressure’s a privilege, and I think we did it.’

Powell wished Cruise a happy 58th birthday earlier this month, posting a photo of them in helicopter.

He wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to my friend, mentor, and flight instructor, @tomcruise. First lesson, the sky is never the limit.’
