Britney Spears’ mother Lynne files new legal documents to be included in pop star’s finances

Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne, has new filed legal documents to be included in her daughter’s finances, according to The Blast.

The 65-year-old author reportedly put in a request to be included in any ‘special notice’ of ‘all matters’ having to do with her daughter’s multi-million dollar trust with the Los Angeles County Courts.

She previously took legal interest in her daughter’s conservatorship last May, after the pop star completed treatment at a health facility one month prior.

At the time, eagle-eyed fans of the Toxic singer noticed her mom ‘liked’ Instagram comments from social media accounts who believed Britney was being held against her will.

In addition to supporting posts using ‘Free Britney’ hashtags, Lynne pointed out that the performer’s management team was ‘deleting positive comments on her Instagram post and leaving negative ones to keep up the illusion that she needs help!’

‘They were all so quick to remove all comments before, but now all the sudden they are leaving all negative ones, but removing positive ones! How much longer is this going to be?!? This has to be human rights violation!!!! #FreeBritney#britneyspears,’ she commented on a Spears fan account, according to Page Six.

On the same account, Spears’ mother later alleged her comment had been deleted, but representatives of the Spears team denied any involvement in a statement to Entertainment Tonight.

‘We unequivocally deny the absurd allegations that we have promoted negative statements or deleted positive posts from Instagram and are considering appropriate action,’ a spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, Britney also denied that her team runs her Instagram account.

Earlier this week, Britney’s former photographer, Andrew Gallery, shared an intimate 2009 letter the star wrote about her conservatorship and marriage to Kevin Federline on TikTok.

Gallery took to the app to explain how he was ‘compelled’ to speak up by the #FreeBritney movement and fans continued worries about the Circus crooner’s well-being.

Gallery said that he became ‘close friends’ with Spears while working together during her 2009 comeback, but wasn’t able to come forward until now because he was still ‘under contract.’

‘We were on tour together, spent every day together for, you know, a while. And in that time, she gave me a letter that she wanted me to read to you guys,’ he claimed.

Gallery said that the original had been ‘destroyed’ by Britney’s conservators, but said he was able to make a copy.

In the letter, the writer says Britney is a ‘completely different person’ compared to her more troubled self.

‘What happened to Britney was a year ago and people need to get with the times,’ she said referring to her 2007 to 2008 breakdown.

Feeling stuck: Talking about her conservatorship, the writer claimed Spears 'has no rights.' They also say they worry that the legal arrangement will last 'as long as the people are getting paid … but it doesn't make it right at all'

They went on to describe how Spears was supposedly manipulated into her divorce from Kevin Federline and into giving up custody of their two sons.

‘As for Kevin saying Britney divorced him, she was forced to by her lawyers because she went to visit him in N.Y. and he wouldn’t see her and the children and her lawyers said if she doesn’t divorce him he’s going to do it himself.’

‘No one knows the truth. Her behavior when her children got taken away b/c of her locking herself in the bathroom is understandable considering her friend at the door kept telling her the cops are leaving don’t worry stay in the bathroom,’ she went on, referring to a 2009 incident where she was hospitalized after losing custody of the boys.

‘She was lied to and set up,’ the letter goes on. ‘Her children were taken away and she did spin out of control which any mother would in those circumstances.’

Talking about her conservatorship, the writer claimed Spears ‘has no rights.’ They also say they worry that the legal arrangement will last ‘as long as the people are getting paid … but it doesn’t make it right at all.’

As of July 2020, she has been under the conservatorship for 12 years.

The letter ends on an earnest note, with the writer calling Britney ‘a very giving person and would love to get the respect she deserves.’

Gallery’s TikTok posts sharing the letter have earned over a million views since Saturday.

The #FreeBritney movement gained traction last March, after she entered a psychiatric facility, which many believed to be against her will.

After fans protested outside of West Hollywood City Hall the next month, Britney took to Instagram to assure them ‘all is well.’
