Gogglebox star Anastasia Katselas shares tragic news with fans as she reveals she recently experienced ‘a couple of deaths in her family’
She’s known for her vibrant personality and lively sense of humour, but Gogglebox star Anastasia Katselas has admitted she’s going through a rough time.
Responding to a fan on Instagram on Tuesday, the 56-year-old reality star revealed there had been ‘a couple of deaths’ in her family recently.
Commenting below a photo of Anastasia’s homemade breakfast, the fan asked her why she hadn’t done an Instagram Live video for a few months.

‘Hope nothing bad happened?’ they asked, prompting Anastasia to explain the sad reason behind her social media absence.
‘We have had a couple of people in my family pass away. Been a bit sad,’ she responded.
Her raw confession led to an outpouring of support from her followers, who offered their condolences to the popular Gogglebox personality.

‘Nnnwwwwaaaa sooooo sorry to hear that. That’s sooo sad to read. And SUCH the worst time too!’ commented one follower.
‘It is hard [especially] for ppl like Greeks who do all the stuff we do when someone has passed. It’s very sad and very difficult. Sorry about that. Silipitiria [condolences]… That makes me sad to read.’

‘I’m ok. I guess,’ Anastasia responded simply.

‘She had an anaphylaxis episode. She was jabbed with her Epipen. Now we are sitting in hospital waiting until the doctors are happy she’s ok to go home. Very scary,’ she explained in a post on Instagram at the time.
‘My heart is still racing. People with allergies always be aware. We should have been more careful, knowing that Leah is allergic to nuts. Get well my darling daughter. I love you so much.’
