A crane driver found the perfect way to pass the time when he started moving his jib to through shade on an unfortunate sun-seeker.
The crane driver used the front of his crane to move a shadow over an unknowing sunbather, who moved once only to have the joke repeated on him again.
The crane operator thought to be in London captured the moment in a hilarious video, showing himself delicately positioning the crane to ruin the sun-bathers afternoon.
The crane operator begins by telling a colleague that he has moved his crane to cast a shadow on an unknowing sunbather
The sun-seeker stands up and picks up his towel to move back into the sun outside the shade
He begins saying ‘look, look. I’m putting shade on this geezer’, referring to a man suntanning on a patch of grass in the city.
Speaking on the walkie-talkie to a colleague, he says ‘look, he’s going to move’ and ‘watch this Fred, as soon as he moves, I’m going to move the block’.
The unknowing sun-seeker stands up and drags his towel out of the shade created by the crane and the operator says ‘look he’s moving’ while laughing.
He lies back down, thinking he had moved back into the sun for good but the prankster slowly moves the crane to pass the shadow back on the sun-seeker while laughing.
The sunbather basks in his newfound sunshine but the crane operator has other ideas, slowly moving the jib
