Married At First Sight: Mishel Karen youthful selfie after Botox

Mishel Karen has made no secret of her previous penchant for Botox. 

And the Married At First Sight beauty showcased the very youthful results of her injectable anti-wrinkle treatments in a flawless Instagram selfie on Friday. 

The 49-year-old looked younger than ever as she posed in her Brisbane back garden.

Mishel looked incredible in the filtered selfie, offering fans a slight smile with a subtle red lip, rosy cheeks, smokey eye and impeccably groomed eyebrows. 

She wore a white singlet and black baseball cap, looking trendy and comfortable. 

Last month, the mum-of-two and police worker announced she had signed with PR agency Modern Currency, who will help her launch her influencer career.

Mishel shared her selfie on Friday to update fans on her weight loss journey.

She is aiming to lose the 13kg she has gained since the show started filming in September 2019 before she turns 50 at the end of the year in December.    

‘I am not doing as well as I expected but in saying that I gave very high expectations. Especially of myself, something that I need to learn to loosen up on,’ said Mishel.

‘Diet is a bit hit and miss. I have cut out all sugars and a lot of refined processed foods. I am lapsing with the processed food which probably contains sugars.’ 

The star revealed her weight gain in April, by posting two comparison photographs, taken at the start and end of production, six months apart.

‘I’ve been a curvy woman, ever since I started trying to have my babies. It was during that time my body started to change to a more voluptuous figure,’ she began.

‘It took me some time to get used to my new shape and start to embrace my curves; but I did it with age, confidence and positive affirmations. I am now back to my pregnancy weight just before I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Eva.’

Mishel has two children, daughter Eva, 18, and son Sam, 20.
