A source said: ‘Vick felt sidelined by producers from the beginning. She wasn’t allowed any say on the show or to interview big guests and all advertising from Capital’s Global made it look like she didn’t have a significant role on the station.’
But an insider told MailOnline: ‘Vick was labelled a bad loser when she was voted off Strictly in the early stages of the show and then chose to publicly criticise both the judges and the programme.
‘It’s a real shame that she now seems to be doing exactly the same thing after choosing to leave Capital Breakfast.’

According to The Sun, the 2018 Strictly contestant, who still maintains a close friendship with Martin Kemp’s son, 27, has been left disappointed after putting ‘all her hard graft’ into the programme, but now wants to centre her attention towards the future.
The insider added to the publication: ‘There was a huge London bus campaign which didn’t even feature her. The final straw was when Roman was in the jungle and a random DJ [DJ Rob Howard] was brought in as a lead replacement.
A source close to Capital hit back at the rumours as they said: ‘There was never any problem with Vick being a woman. She’s complained about other jobs, like saying it was a fix when she left Strictly. But that’s her issue. Only she knows why.

The radio star shared on Instagram: ‘All good things come to an end and after 3 amazing years co-hosting Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, alongside Sonny [Jay], I’ve made the decision that it is time to move onto pastures new.
‘It has been a great privilege to present alongside two of my best friends in the world: Roman and Sonny have been like brothers to me and I think you are both so incredibly talented.
‘I am enormously grateful to our team at Capital for their constant hard work, incredible support over the years and for all the laughs.
