Laura Whitmore has been finding creative new ways to pass the time in coronavirus lockdown and it involves tie-dye.

Putting her fun-loving TikToks on the back burner and turning fashion designer while stuck indoors, the Love Island host decided to tie-dye her entire wardrobe.

Okay, not her entire wardrobe as that would be a little extreme, but we’re talking a lot of items of clothing here.

Clearly wanting to give her closet a bit of a revamp, Laura snuck out some key staples and spruced them up with some funky patterns, perfect for festival season. At least for 2021, that is.

The Irish presenter was seen posing in what was a white vest top and plain pair of jeans before she got her tie-dying mitts on them and turned them purple.

She joked: ‘Everything has been tie dyed,’ with a crying laughing emoji.

And she wasn’t wrong, among her new collection of clothes was a cool purple and blue mini dress with flared sleeves and a new marble effect all over, as well as a ‘choose love’ t-shirt that had been brightened up with green, blue and yellow dye.

Laura’s tie-dying session in the garden comes after reports she is engaged to boyfriend Iain Stirling.

Laura and comedian Ian, who is also Love Island’s voice-over, have been dating for over three years now and it’s claimed the pair are now set to wed, after Ian reportedly popped the question in South Africa.

The pair had been in South Africa working together on Love Island’s first ever winter series and an insider told The Sun: ‘They couldn’t be happier. We’re thrilled for them.

‘He’d obviously thought about it for a while… their wedding plans are on hold due to the lockdown but it’s lovely to have a wedding to come.’

They’re one of showbiz’s most loved-up couples and Iain previously told Chris Ramsey: ‘I’ve got someone who’s like me, but much, much better.

‘And Laura’s got someone who’s like her, but much worse. I’ve done well out of it, but I’m dead happy because she’s lovely and stuff.’
