MasterChef judges Andy Allen and Melissa Leong reveal some of their favourite dining spots in Melbourne
MasterChef fans were treated to a glimpse of Andy Allen and Melissa Leong’s favourite restaurants in Melbourne on Sunday’s episode.
In a video diary shared with the Back to Win contestants, judge Andy, 31, revealed he begins his day with a coffee and a croissant at Lune Croissanterie in Fitzroy.
Andy went on to say most days he enjoys Mexican food, in some form or another. On this occasion he chose to showcase popular pub, Little Hop in Fitzroy.

The restaurant opens at 5pm daily – with beef and chicken tacos starting at $7 each.
Next up, Melissa, 40, told contestants that she begins her day with a caffeine fix at Babajan Eatery in Carlton North.
Babajan Eatery is a Turkish and middle eastern cafe that sell meat and vegetarian inspired dishes, pretzels, donuts and macaroons.
‘How good are tacos with some guac and chips?’ Andy revealed that he spends most of his days enjoying Mexican food. On this occasion he chose to showcase Little Hop in Fitzroy
For lunch Melissa chooses popular Japanese café ima Project Cafe in Carlton.
On this occasion, she opted for soba noodle salad with fresh Japanese toppings, complete with a miso-glazed piece of salmon.
Melissa then revealed she’ll treat her sweet tooth with a visit to Beatrix in North Melbourne for a last-minute dessert.

The popular cake specialist, located in the city’s CBD, offers a vast range of special treats.
Those include a peanut butter layer cake with caramel, red velvet layer cake and a Moroccan Snickers tart.
