ORLANDO Bloom leads celebrities in a version of Dame Vera Lynne’s ‘We’ll Meet Again’ to urge people to Stay Home Now and protect the NHS.
A host of celebrities including Ray Winstone, Gemma Arterton, Richard E Grant, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Billy Connolly join brave frontline key workers in a moving version of the wartime song.

In one heartbreaking scene, a London-based doctor called Sarah breaks down in tears.
The poignant moment shows the strain and stress our frontline workers face every day when they put their lives on the line in the fight against Covid-19.
“Never was so much owed by so many to so few. The NHS. National Hero Saviours,” Ray Winstone commented.
British rapper and songwriter Nadia Rose, actress Sheila Atim, actor Thomas Doherty, The Durrells star Josh O’Connor and acting legend Brian Cox also feature in the touching tribute to our key frontline workers and the NHS, in which everyone recites a few words of the 1939 World War Two song.

The lyrics from the song are especially resonant right now as we stay at home to battle the Covid-19 pandemic, with it starting: “We’ll meet again/Don’t know where/Don’t know when/But I know we’ll meet again some sunny day/Keep smiling through/Just like you always do/Till the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away.”
Key workers including nurses, paramedics, hospital porters, vets, care workers, doctors, post office workers, surgeons, shop workers and bus drivers are also featured in the video, with one holding up a sign showing the NHS logo reversed to SHN – which stands for STAY HOME NOW.

One of the frontline key workers featured is Dr Costello, who had just finished a shift of more than 12 hours in an ICU when he filmed his part.
He said of the video: “The message is simple, the ask is emotive, the reward is personal. By continuing to stay at home, we can continue to protect ourselves, those we love and our wonderful NHS. Please stay home now.”
The logo and video was created by Richard Denney, Executive Creative Director, and Al Young, Chief Creative Officer at London-based advertising agency St Luke’s, in response to a plea from an ICU doctor on LBC radio for people to stop endangering their lives and the lives of others and stay home to save lives.
