Jussie Smollett recently appeared in court, where his lawsuit against the City of Chicago was thrown out.
And the Empire star has since returned home to Los Angeles, where he’s in quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic.
He cut a casual cool look in black Friday as he stepped out with some friends for a smoothie run at Jamba Juice in Hollywood during a break from isolation.

The 37-year-old sported a fitted black t-shirt with matching shorts and a pair of white sneakers.
He finished the look with a pair of black clubmasters, a black face mask and some disposable protective gloves.
Smollett appeared Wednesday in front of US District Court Judge Virginia Kendall, who ruled that his claim of malicious prosecution cannot move forward.
He told police last January that he was allegedly assaulted by two men who tied a noose around his neck while shouting racist and homophobic slurs.

Chicago police claimed the attack was staged, charging Smollett with making a false report.
After those charges were dropped with little explanation from prosecutors, the city sued him last April for $130k in overtime to the officers investigating the attack.
The Alien: Covenant actor countersued in November, claiming humiliation and distress.
He’s since been written off Empire ahead of the recent series finale, after playing Jamal Lyon for the first five seasons.
Showrunner Brett Mahoney told Entertainment Tonight: ‘He is a very important member of the family, so it was very difficult to think of closing and ending the series without him.’
