Britain’s Got Talent fans freak out as magician Kevin Quantum has brush with death when terrifying fire stunt goes wrong

BRITAIN’S Got Talent fans freaked out tonight as magician Kevin Quantum had a brush with death when his terrifying fire stunt went wrong.

The contestant attempted to walk through a giant harmonic pendulum of fiery cannonballs with a bag over his head so he couldn’t see where the weights were flying during tonight’s show.

BGT fans were left on the edge of their seats as they watched another death defying stunt – quite literally.

Judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, were left stunned by wacky scientist Kevin – who had stand-by doctors panicking as he approached the swinging balls of fire.

Gearing up for the trick he told the judges and audience: “I need complete faith in science to make this work.”

The trick, which sees him blindfolded, normally goes without a hitch.

As the balls were released hosts Ant and Dec, who are watching from the sidelines, asked: “Is that right? It doesn’t look right.”

While Simon said in astonishment: “He’s crazy”.

While Kevin made it safely through the fiery canon balls, he revealed afterwards to the judges that the heavy metal pendulum balls came out of sync, increasing the likelihood of hitting him.
