Is everything okay? Australian DJ Flume shares a series of photos of him sitting in a pool fully clothed days after he was to headline at Coachella

He was one of many artists scheduled to perform at the postponed Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last weekend.

And on Wednesday, Australian DJ Flume shared a photo of himself looking downcast as he sat in his backyard pool in Los Angeles fully clothed.

While it’s not clear if this was for a photoshoot or fun, the 28-year-old hitmaker seems to have forgotten to strip down for the occasion.

Not happy! DJ Flume, 28, shared a photo of himself looking downcast as he sat in his backyard pool fully clothed after he was scheduled to headline the Coachella Music Festival

Flume, born Harley Edward Streten, was dressed up in a white button-up long sleeve shirt, denim jeans and white shoes.

He completed his look wearing a black Tracy Chapman tour hat, while gripping onto a red lollipop. He captioned the images: ‘Evolving’.

Socialite-turned-DJ Paris Hilton was quick to comment underneath the photo, sharing a series of three red heart emojis.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Flume for comment

It comes after the Grammy Award-winning musician revealed that he was heading down the same path as DJ Avicii who died tragically, aged just 28, in 2018.

Speaking to the My Friend Podcast last week, Harley said he was self-medicating to cope with performing.

‘I mean I used a lot of alcohol. Like, when performing, I would drink to calm nerves,’ he told the podcast.

‘I would drink to make it bearable, which sounds crazy but really it’s the truth. I’m just not a performer and I’ve definitely used alcohol to feel comfortable on stage in front of people.’

Flume went on to say that the combination of mental health concerns and substance abuse could have seen him suffer the same fate as the Swedish superstar DJ.

He said: ‘I think people like Avicii and things, are literally the same as me. And he died because he was medicating himself just like I was, with alcohol, drugs, whatever.
