Woman gives her husband quarantine haircut that is so horrific he has to BUZZ OFF most of his locks

There have been plenty of warnings against cutting your own hair amid the coronavirus pandemic, but one couple has proven that you shouldn’t let your spouse give you a trim either.

Actress Emily Pendergast, 33, didn’t even use a comb when she gave her husband Cory, 42, a quarantine haircut that was so horrific he actually had to buzz off most of his locks when she was done.

To the delight of the internet, the Los Angeles-based couple shared a hilarious video of the at-home haircut on Facebook last week, where it has been viewed more than 2.7 million times.

At the start of the viral clip, Cory stresses to his wife that he just wants a trim, noting there shouldn’t be that much hair to clean up when she’s done.

He seems to be watching a how-to video on his phone, and he suggests that Emily try cutting his hair at an angle.

Emily points out that they ‘don’t even have the right scissors,’ but he reminds her that she is only giving him a trim.

Things begin to go south when she cuts off a huge chunk of hair and starts laughing much to her husband’s dismay.

‘Honey, that’s too much!’ he says.

Too late: When she chops off a huge section of his bangs, he jumps off of the toilet to assess the damage. 'Honey, that's too much!' he yells

Cory warns her to not do that to his bangs, but Emily can’t stop laughing.

‘Now you’re making me nervous,’ she says.

While he insists that he trusts her, he can’t help but note that he needs the front of his hair to be somewhat straight.

Emily’s giggles eventually start to make him nervous — and for good reason.

Just seconds later, she chops off a huge section of his bangs, and he jumps off of the toilet to assess the damage.

‘That’s too much! Dude, no,’ he says as he looks in the mirror. ‘Honey, that’s way, way too much. I don’t have any bangs. I look like a Kewpie doll.’

Emily is laughing so hard that she can barely breathe, but she still offers to try and fix it for him.

‘You can’t fix this!’ he hits back.

Cory later revealed that he ended up having to buzz off most of his hair.

Emily told BuzzFeed News that decided to give Cory a haircut for the first time because he was unable to visit his regular hairstylist while in quarantine.

She explained that her friend Allison had an inkling that the haircut would turn out poorly and suggested she film it.

Her pal was clearly right as she admitted that it didn’t even occur to her to use a comb while cutting Cory’s hair.

‘Cory, as you can tell, is incredibly positive and lighthearted. When he saw his “bangs” in my hands, I think he was fully dumbfounded,’ she said.

Ultimately, the experience made them more thankful for their hairstylist Kaylie.
