David Beckham’s father Ted, 72, announces he is ENGAGED to fiancé Hilary Meredith 18 years after divorcing former footballer’s mother
David Beckham’s father Ted has announced he is engaged to Hilary Meredith.
The former footballer’s father, 72, met his solicitor fiancé last year while working for army veterans at Broughton House Veteran Care Village.
A joint statement from the pair said: ‘While there are far more important things going on in the world right now, we are thrilled to say that we are happily engaged. Stay safe everyone.’
Ted’s engagement comes 18 years after he divorced David’s mother Sandra, who he was previously married to for 32 years.
