Married At First Sight: Producers exposed in pictures Channel Nine don’t want you to see

Who exactly are the mysterious Married At First Sight producers?

They are constantly vilified by cast members in interviews and on social media, but viewers have no idea who they are or what they look like.

Now, Daily Mail Australia can reveal what really goes on behind the scenes of Australia’s most popular reality show – and how the ‘puppet masters’ control what happens on screen.

Who exactly are the Married At First Sight producers? Daily Mail Australia pictures the team behind the country’s top reality show, and the measures they go in order to prevent spoilers

During production, the cast are rarely given a second to themselves on shoot days.

Even when they’re filming romantic dates or pieces to camera, there’s always a producer looming behind the crew.

On November 28, as Connie filmed her final scenes in Sydney, one producer stood just inches away, having her do repeated takes discussing her exit on the street.

Similarly, another producer had Vanessa Romito film multiple takes getting out of a limousine at her wedding at Vaucluse House in Sydney on September 10.

Despite the spectacle happening on a public street, the producer told onlookers they ‘can not take pictures’ – and tried to block the bride from them.

There’s also a team tasked with ensuring the cast are always where they’re meant to be – even escorting them from their rooms into chauffeur driven cars.

One of the biggest problems throughout production is rogue cast members fleeing.

During the girls’ night reunion, which aired this week and was filmed on November 26 in Sydney, Poppy Jennings was photographed crying alone after leaving.

A female producer then stood over her while convincing her to return to the set.

Another issue the producers are faced with is deterring paparazzi while filming.

During dinner party and commitment ceremony shoots, the cast are only allowed to freely walk around set while hidden behind huge umbrellas.

They also erect special blacked out marquees for them to hide behind.

During season six last year, producers went to even more extreme measures.

To prevent any of the cast being photographed on set at the reunion in January 2019, the stars were forced to sit hiding in taxis for over an hour.

The line of taxis snaked around the set, with the stars banned from getting out.

Executive producer Tara McWilliams is the most prolific person behind the show.

However, throughout the current season she was rarely photographed around the set – mostly working behind the scenes and out of sight in public.

She is believed to already be working on casting the upcoming 2021 season.
