Riverdale has temporarily shut down its production in Vancouver after someone who works on the show encountered a person who has come down with COVID-19.

The coronavirus patient is not part of the production, according to a Warner Brothers representative who spoke to TMZ.

Medical evaluation is underway for the Riverdale team member who was exposed to the infected person, the representative said.

‘We are working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member,’ shared the representative.

Warner Brothers produces Riverdale, a smash hit Archie Comics spin-off series that has been airing on the CW since 2017.

There have been 39 confirmed COVID-19 cases in British Columbia, according to the provincial Center For Disease Control.

His demise occurred Sunday night at a hospital in North Vancouver, according to provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, Global News reports.
