Finally sold! Rugby star Quade Cooper and model girlfriend Laura Dundovic sell their Brisbane home for over $2.2million after listing it a year ago

Rugby union star Quade Cooper and his model girlfriend Laura Dundovic have finally sold their Brisbane home.

The longtime couple listed the property in the north-east suburb of Bulimba over a year ago, according to a report by realestate.com.au on Wednesday.

They recently offloaded it for just over $2.2million, after struggling to sell the uniquely designed home.

Described as a ‘modern concrete mansion’, the house was listed for between $2.25million and $2.35million.

It was previously put up for auction in late 2018, but failed to find an interested buyer.

The two-storey home was renovated in 2017, and features geometric designs and a grey concrete facade.

It also boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a pool, and is situated on a 445 square metre block.

The property also comes with a 12-metre marina berth on the Brisbane River, suggesting the couple took full advantage of the coastal lifestyle.

There’s also a glass pool, which includes a swim-through passage into the shower, and the master bedroom features a spacious walk-in wardrobe.

Quade, 31, bought the home for $1.845million back in 2015, while he was playing for the Queensland Reds.

He’s since moved on to play for the Melbourne Rebels, which has seen him relocate interstate.

According to real estate agent Michael Bacon from Place Kangaroo Point, over 60 groups toured the property, but its ‘unique’ aesthetic wasn’t to everyone’s taste.

‘It only suited a few people. It didn’t really suit a lot of families because of the orientation of the house,’ he said.

Quade has been in a relationship with former Miss Universe Australia winner Laura, 32, for over five years, after they met through a mutual friend.

‘We had a long-distance relationship for a while when he was in Brisbane and I was in Sydney. We’ve lived in Brisbane and survived a renovation together, moved to France for his sport, and now we’re in Melbourne,’ she told The Sydney Morning Herald in October.
